Anger

In the heart, a tempest swirls, a fiery tide,  Anger roars, a tempest deep inside.  It burns like a wildfire, untamed and wild, A tempest of emotions, a storm compiled. Red-hot flashes, like lightning's fierce strike, In anger's grip, reason takes a hike. A raging sea, turbulent and vast, Anger's hold is strong, it won't be surpassed. But in this storm, there's a lesson to learn, To harness the tempest, to tame and discern. For anger, though fierce, can teach us the way, To grow, to evolve, to find a brighter day. So let it remind us, in its fiery dance, That anger, too, deserves a chance. To guide us toward a place of peace, Where anger's storm, one day, will cease.

Upon Friar Review: Glowing reviews for The Chosen

I like the Youtube channel Upon Friar Review.  It's about two Franciscan friars reviewing movies and shows in this channel and I love the way how they deepen my understanding of my Christian faith with the movies and shows that they review. And I am very glad that they have reviewed one of my favourite shows today: The Chosen.  I also like the fact that I share most of their point-of-view about the shows and they teach me as well about it.  So below are the Youtube links as they review Seasons 1 and 2 of The Chosen.   Also, I've linked the headings below to related Amazon items that may interest you. Every cloud has a silver lining

"The struggle of life is one of our greatest blessings. It makes us patient, sensitive, and Godlike. It teaches us that although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it." ~ Helen Keller     Every time we hear the news today, we mostly hear about tragedies and most recently, the rising numbers of infected and dead people due to the Covid19 pandemic.   I have heard of friends and strangers lose their loved ones due to Covid19 and my heart goes out for them. I pray that they be strong to accept what has happened.  As they, there are only two certainties in life: death and taxes.  Though the situation looks grim, we must not dwell on it too much and try as much as possible to draw out anything positive from this situation.  Like any problem humanity has faced, this too shall pass.  Here are a few positive things that I can draw out from this situation. 1> Mother Earth is given a time to heal a bit.  With people encouraged to stay-at-home, it

A World Without God

From the very start of everything, if there is no God, then we all have existed by chance.  We all just happen to be very lucky that all those random events.  If our world started by chance then it will also likely end by chance making living life really meaningless. All the harmony that exists in the universe are all judged as a product of luck and of chance just because a few humans are so arrogant to not realize that their knowledge and understanding of things are very limited and yet they act as if they are definitely sure of what they are babbling about. If the entire knowledge of everything in the universe would be as large as our oceans, the knowledge of the most intelligent human would probably fit only a 2 litre bottle.  This is why I find most of them arrogant because they seem so sure with the so little knowledge that they hold. I am sure that the men of science during Galileo Galilei's time were sure that the Earth was the centre of the universe or that the earth was f

I share the same thoughts about IMAGINE's lyrics

I share Father Barron's thoughts about it.  I like the Beatles and I like most of their songs including this one until I thought about its lyrics and not just the melody of the song. I couldn't imagine a world without God because it means that life becomes meaningless and just one big mistake.  A product of a big accident of the cosmos.  The world just becomes a true rat race where me-first attitude is the only way.  Why sacrifice for others?  Just take care of yourself and no one else.  Love becomes meaningless.  Life becomes meaningless.  What do you think?

Bishop Robert Baron's Convo with Jordan Peterson Recap

Jordan Peterson is someone I find really interesting as a human being.  The video below tackles the recap of their dialogue. Why are the young leaving the Catholic church?   Should the Bible be taken seriously not just by believers but by all? Lessons from the Cain and Abel story, does evil intrinsically exist within us? John Lennox: One of the scientists who believes in Jesus Christ
