  I have just seen this and I can relate to him.   I hated my father for the abandoning my mother at the time when she was dying and needed him most.  He abandoned my siblings to follow his newly found desire for a woman younger than me.  For years, I loathed him and I almost destroyed my own life and the people that mattered to me because of that hatred. But then God found me and I learned to forgive my father.  We now talk to each other after years of silence. But other people like this guy here had it worse than I did and God also found him and healed him.

  It's almost the time of year when the Waratah Junior League is about to start.  Finally, Covid 19 seemingly is gone and we can now all go back to participating in our favourite basketball junior league, the Waratah Junior Leagues. Preseason had just started like 3 weeks ago and it is great to see basketball finally back.  But along with the good, some red flags are also rearing its ugly head this early on.  Basketball New South Wales should do something about this as this will adversely affect the junior league if left uncheck. BNSW and its member associations I think, overall, have done a great job but there a few things that I want to nitpick and complain about.  First, some real talents will be missed out as playing representative basketball is only for those who can afford the fees.  Can BNSW regulate the fees each association is charging and should they consider expanding or continuing the Hoop Dreams program so it opens the doors for kids who are re...

  “Life is going to give you a gutful of reasons to be angry kid, you only need one to be grateful.” If you would be able to have time and watch Prime Video anytime soon, I dare you to watch Father Stu, a film starring Mark Wahlberg as Father Stuart Long.  I've seen it 3 times now for the past months and it has inspired me to be a better man.  It has helped me to long and look for God and for life's meaning in today's world. God works in mysterious ways and he does qualify the called.  It is only by God's grace that we achieve great and meaningful things in this life.  To God be the glory.   I just watched the movie Ready Player One for the nth time yesterday and I still find myself glued to it from beginning to end.  I found certain minor details that I didn't really noticed before when I viewed the movie earlier. What caught my attention yesterday was that Gregarious games started the Oasis in 2025.  Well that got me thinking that year would be 2 years from now and I thought about the nearest games nowadays that would closely resemble the Oasis and there isn't one yet. I have recently dabbled with a couple of these play-to-earn games like Sandbox and Blankos recently as I wanted to learn by getting myself first hand experience  about these crypto games.  I wasn't able to play Sandbox at the time because I failed to get myself a game pass but I was able to play Blankos.  I also tried buying a few ADAs and a few SOLs just to try stuff out.   I've been watching this series, The Chosen, now on its 3rd season, and each episode has not failed to hit hard on my heart.  I can describe myself as someone who society has hardened and I didn't cry for more than 10 years as everything was just numb and empty.  I felt nothing for anyone or for anything. The first episode of Season 1 which I watched because I had nothing else to watch completely melted whatever hardened my heart and each episode has been  a  tear jerker ever since.  The Chosen series had resuscitated my faith, it brings the gospels alive to me.  The apostles weren't one dimensioned saintly people, they were ordinary people like us who have many imperfections and have many struggles. Fast forward to December 2022 and The Chosen had just released their second episode and this hit the hardest so far because it deals with sickness and healing.  I have the experience of having a loved one deal with pain and suffering through sickness...
